There used to be a Chinese curse that went something along the lines of ‘May you live in interesting times.’ Having seen a good few movies set in ancient China, I think ‘interesting’ was probably some sort of euphemism for ‘war-torn’, so yes, best avoided if possible. But I tell you what, I always find the sight of gorgeous women taking their clothes off rather interesting, and am happy to be living right now – not least because here’s the latest issue of Mayfair!
